In 2022, Wendy Dorsey started DevelopMental Health Inc. in order to provide evidence-informed and individually-tailored mental health supports to persons with Intellectual and Other developmental disabilities. Wendy has over 20 years of professional experience serving individuals with co-occurring developmental disability and mental health conditions in a variety of settings, including: Independent living and family homes, Group and sponsored homes, and a State-operated training center (CVTC). Wendy has served in the roles of DSP, CSB Support Coordinator, In-home Behavioral Treatment provider, Crisis intervention and stabilization clinician, Hospital liaison, Outpatient Psychotherapist and Play Therapist, and Therapeutic Consultant in Psychology. In 2017, Wendy completed a fellowship through VCU's Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (Virginia LEND) program.
Wendy's current credentials include: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Virginia Board of Social Work-Approved Clinical Supervisor, Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS), and Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP).
